About Beekeepers

Throughout his life, man hunted wild bee nests and took their honey. Beekeepers used hives and harvested honey from them at least 4,500 years ago. Over the last decades (from the 1800s to the present), knowledge about beekeeping has increased, as a result of research conducted by archaeologists, philologists and scientists.
